ESSER FUNDING OFFERS NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOLS POST COVID-19

Congress passed legislation in 2020 to help schools deal with the impact the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has had and continues to have on elementary and secondary schools across the country. As part of the Education Stabilization CARES Act, these funds, known as the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund, provide much-needed support to schools in their efforts to recapture lost instructional time and gains for students across the country.
